Milk will come out your nose.

A little NPR humor: Time magazine has announced the invention of the year. That’s “invention of the year,” not invention of “the year.” That’s already been invented.

I’m still slapping my knee. This is why I listen to NPR all day.

P.S. The invention of 2006 was YouTube. To which I say: No duh. This morning I got to watch Faith Hill's hissy at CMAs.

Yeah, that was a classic NPR moment. Had it been longer, and had I been parked in my driveway, it would have definitely counted as a driveway moment. I feel so much more intelligent just listening to NPR.

It's kind of like watching Frasier and getting the joke. It's something to be very proud of.

I'm your not so smart friend ignoring NPR and commenting on the Faith Hill dispute. How funny was that?! I doubt she was joking, but said she was because she got caught...hmmm..

Faith was so not joking around, in my opinion (of course). I've now watched a few different versions of her reaction (I can't help myself), and it would have to be some REALLY good acting for her anger to be so convincing. I'm not sure anyone is that good.

But she is only human--I bet a lot of performers feel exactly the same way at many awards shows. She just got caught, and that's why it's funny :-)
